One dead, three wounded in Atlantic City shooting
A daylight shooting on the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City left 23-year-old Azaiah Grissom dead and three other men wounded. Authorities said all four victims were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus. Video obtained by BreakingAC appears to show a man on a bicycle approach the group, open fire, then flee on foot.
One man was killed and three others were wounded in a daylight shooting on an Atlantic City street.
Video obtained by BreakingAC shows a male on a bicycle approach four victims who were standing together and open fire. As the shooting begins, one of the victims falls to the ground while the others run. The person who fell eventually gets up and runs as well. The shooter then starts to ride away, turns around, drops the bicycle, and flees on foot.
Police were called to the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue at 6:06 p.m., Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said. All four victims were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where 23-year-old Azaiah Grissom was pronounced dead.
The other victims were identified as Sharif Williams, 25, Mushin Faulkner, 31, and Zyshon Baker, 22, all of Atlantic City. They were wounded and remained hospitalized.
Tyner did not release additional details about the shooting or the suspect seen on the bicycle. Anyone with information was asked to contact Major Crimes at 609-909-7800 or text tips anonymously to tip411 (847411) beginning the message with ACPD.
