Two men accused in an Atlantic City killing allegedly sparked by a vehicle crash have been indicted. Jahmal Greenidge, 28, was fatally shot May 19 in the 300 block of North Tennessee Avenue. According to the affidavit of probable cause, Denzel Garrison threatened Greenidge and his family after a March 7 crash. Prosecutors allege Garrison was driven to and from the shooting in a black Hyundai Sonata connected to Laquine Demby. The vehicle matched a photo released by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office about a week after the shooting. The affidavit states that video surveillance showed a left-handed man shooting Greenidge as he walked into an apartment complex. Garrison is left-handed. Garrison, 28, of Newark, and Demby, 30, of Pleasantville, were indicted Tuesday on murder and conspiracy charges, according to acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. Garrison also was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Both remained in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
