Atlantic City man wanted in shooting, stabbing
Atlantic City police said they were seeking a city man, identified as Nyquan Harper, in connection with a November 2020 assault in which a 26-year-old man was stabbed during an altercation and then shot. Police said the victim was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
ATLANTIC CITY — Police were seeking the public’s help in locating a city man wanted in connection with a shooting and stabbing.
Police identified the suspect as Nyquan Harper, 21. He was charged with two counts each of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, and certain persons not to possess a weapon, according to a police release.
The department’s Violent Crimes Unit filed the charges after investigating a Nov. 1 incident. Police said Harper stabbed a 26-year-old man during an altercation and then shot him. The victim was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.
