Detectives continued to investigate a Sunday morning shooting outside B&B Saloon in Atlantic City that killed one man and wounded four others. Idel Rodriguez-Garcia, 29, of Atlantic City, was pronounced dead at the hospital after being rushed from the scene at 3:43 a.m. Sunday, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner. An autopsy performed Monday found that Rodriguez-Garcia died from a gunshot wound to the head, and his death was ruled a homicide. The shooting happened outside the bar, which is located around the block from the Atlantic City Public Safety Building and was formerly known as Kelly's Bar. Tyner said police first responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of 2716 Arctic Ave. Shortly afterward, officers received a 911 call about a crash at Arctic and Arkansas avenues. Rodriguez-Garcia was found inside the vehicle with a gunshot wound. Officials said four people were wounded in the shooting. Two remained hospitalized, including one in critical condition, and another victim was treated and released. Prosecutors said many lives were put in danger when gunfire erupted around the bar. There was a Halloween party taking place inside the bar at the time. The host, whose parked truck was struck by a bullet, told BreakingAC he was inside and did not hear the gunfire. Prosecutors asked anyone who attended or who has information about the shooting to contact investigators.
