A 16-year-old boy who was on electronic monitoring was charged in connection with an Oct. 25 shooting in Atlantic City that wounded a 31-year-old man from Pleasantville. Police said the teen was arrested after a Violent Crimes Unit investigation and charged with aggravated assault, robbery, and weapons offenses.
A teenager on an ankle bracelet is accused in an Atlantic City shooting. Police said a 16-year-old boy was charged in connection with an Oct. 25 shooting in the 1100 block of Ohio Avenue, according to Lt. Kevin Fair. The teen, who was on electronic monitoring, allegedly wounded a 31-year-old man from Pleasantville. Authorities said an investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit led to the arrest. The juvenile was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was taken to the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center.
