Two teens were wounded in separate Atlantic City shootings within 48 hours, police said. A ShotSpotter alert brought officers to the 500 block of New York Avenue at 11:06 p.m. Saturday, Lt. Kevin Fair said. There, police found an unnamed teen suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment. Then, just after 10 p.m. Monday, officers responded to another ShotSpotter alert in the 500 block of Indiana Avenue. When officers arrived, they were told the victim, another 17-year-old, was inside a residence in the 1500 block of Caspian Place, Fair said. That teen also was taken to AtlantiCare's City Campus for treatment. Both investigations are being led by the Violent Crimes Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call the unit at 609-347-5766 or text tip411 (847411), beginning the message with ACPD.
