Atlantic City police arrested a Sicklerville man in connection with a June shooting on Tennessee Avenue. The victim, 27, had been shot and taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. Police said the man was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
ATLANTIC CITY — Police last week arrested a Sicklerville man in connection with a shooting that took place last month on Tennessee Avenue. Police said Cedrick Harris, 26, was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. On June 23, officers responded to the 800 block of Tennessee Avenue after an alert from the city’s gunshot-audio detection system at about 8:40 p.m. The victim, 27, had been shot and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. Detectives identified Harris as a suspect. Detective Brian Hambrecht and Officer Kerry Dunbar arrested him on July 10 in the 700 block of New Hampshire Avenue, and he was taken to the Atlantic County jail.
