Atlantic City police said a man was arrested after officers executing a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of Ohio Avenue found about 1,200 bags of heroin, three loaded handguns, and cash believed to be from drug sales. Police said one of the guns had been reported stolen from Egg Harbor Township.
ATLANTIC CITY — A city man was arrested after police found approximately 1,200 bags of heroin and three handguns during a search of his home Tuesday. According to police, members of the Atlantic City Police Department’s Special Investigations Section executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Ohio Avenue. Officers recovered the heroin, three loaded handguns, and cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales. Police also said one of the handguns had been reported stolen from Egg Harbor Township. Francis Kelly, 28, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone and 1,000 feet of a school zone, three counts of unlawful weapon possession, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, and receiving stolen property. Kelly was being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing.
