Atlantic City police said officers recovered an assault-style rifle from a city man after a motor vehicle stop Wednesday. Police said the stop led to a search warrant for the car, where detectives found a loaded AR-15-style rifle and materials used in packaging and distributing narcotics. The man was charged with weapon and drug-paraphernalia offenses and taken to the Atlantic County jail.
ATLANTIC CITY — Police said officers recovered an assault-style rifle from an Atlantic City man after a motor vehicle stop Wednesday. According to police, Sgt. Leonard and Detective Darrin Forladi stopped Robert Bostic, 33, on the 100 block of Atlantic Avenue, Sgt. Kevin Fair said Friday. The investigation led to a search warrant for the car. Detectives found a loaded AR-15-style rifle and materials used in packaging and distributing narcotics, Fair said. Bostic was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons not to possess a weapon, and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. He was taken to the Atlantic County jail.
