Atlantic City police arrested a city man Saturday after they say he pointed a gun at his girlfriend during a dispute on the 300 block of Kentucky Avenue. He was charged with aggravated assault and multiple weapons offenses, and police said they recovered the gun.
ATLANTIC CITY — A city man faces aggravated assault charges after allegedly pointing a gun at his girlfriend during a dispute Saturday.
Sadid Johnson, 27, was arrested just after 8 p.m. on the 300 block of Kentucky Avenue, police said. Police did not identify the girlfriend. Officers recovered the gun and took Johnson to the Atlantic County jail pending a court hearing.
He is charged with simple assault, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and certain persons not to possess a weapon.
