Authorities have identified a man who was shot and killed in Atlantic City on Friday night as David Blackwell Jr., 31, of Hammonton. According to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner, Atlantic City police found Blackwell on Virginia Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead. The investigation was continuing, and officials asked anyone with information to contact the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit or the Atlantic City Police Department Investigations Division.
