An Atlantic City man was charged after police said he harassed two women who would not let him into a house and was later found with a handgun. The incident occurred Sunday morning on the 600 block of Lexington Avenue in Atlantic City.
An Atlantic City man faces weapons charges after allegedly harassing two women for not letting him inside a house.
Police said he was arrested Sunday morning on the 600 block of Lexington Avenue after a neighbor reported seeing him on the back porch of a house with a handgun, according to a statement from the Atlantic City Police Department.
Two women, who were not identified, were inside the home and were refusing to let him in.
Police said officers found the gun in his jacket pocket after they arrived. He was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, certain persons not to possess a weapon, and domestic violence harassment.
The arresting officers were Keith Ferguson, Rick Dascio, and Mary Holmes.
