ATLANTIC CITY — A city man accidentally shot himself Wednesday, police said. At 11:18 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man who had been shot and found Jose Torres-Hernandez. Torres-Hernandez was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police said their investigation determined that Torres-Hernandez shot himself accidentally. Anyone with information about the incident was asked to contact the police Violent Crimes Unit.
