Three Atlantic City men were wounded in two separate shootings overnight, including two men shot in the 200 block of North Carolina Avenue and another man later found with a gunshot wound to the head inside a truck outside his home. Police said all three victims were in stable condition.
Three Atlantic City men were wounded in two separate shootings in the city overnight. According to Sgt. Chris Barber of the Atlantic City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit, two men were found shot in the 200 block of North Carolina Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. The victims were identified as Shawn Smith, whose age was not available, and Luis Guzman, 43. Police said both men were wounded after multiple shots were fired. Both were reported to be in stable condition. About six hours later, another man was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside a truck outside his home. Marvin Napper was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus, where he was still being treated late Tuesday afternoon. He also was reported to be in stable condition. Police asked anyone with information about the shootings to contact Atlantic City police or Crime Stoppers.
