A Pleasantville man was injured in a shooting late Wednesday night in Atlantic City. Police were called to the 900 block of Virginia Avenue at about 11:50 p.m. for a report of a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound, according to Sgt. Chris Barber of the Violent Crimes Unit. The man, whose name was not released, was shot in the lower leg. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, where his injury was not considered life-threatening. The shooting was being investigated by Barber and Detective Charles Stuart. No further information was immediately available. Anyone with information was asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
