Two men were killed in a shooting at a motel in Absecon on Sunday morning. Police arrived at the Red Roof Inn on Absecon Boulevard at about 5 a.m. and found two men dead inside a motel room. The victims were identified as Diante Owen, 22, of Pleasantville, and Gerald Alvarez, 22, of Mays Landing. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating the double homicide. The article did not report any arrests or identify a suspect.
