Atlantic City police investigated a shooting Saturday morning that wounded a man in the 800 block of North Tennessee Avenue.
According to police, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert at about 7:40 a.m. and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man, described as an Atlantic City resident, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with wounds to his upper arm and leg. Police said the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Police did not say what evidence was found at the scene, and no suspect information was immediately available. The Violent Crimes Unit was investigating. Authorities asked anyone with information to contact Atlantic City police or Crime Stoppers.
