23-year-old Man Dies After Being Shot in Atlantic City, NJ
A 23-year-old man, Luis Rosa Rodriguez, died after being shot Tuesday night on Florida Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific avenues in Atlantic City. Authorities said the shooting happened shortly after 8 p.m. and the case is being investigated as a homicide by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and Atlantic City Police.
A 23-year-old man died after being shot in Atlantic City on Tuesday night. According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, the shooting happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Florida Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific avenues.
Officers with the Atlantic City Police Department responded to the scene and found the victim, Luis Rosa Rodriguez. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, where he was pronounced dead the following afternoon.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said the case remains an active homicide investigation being conducted in cooperation with the Atlantic City Police Department. Authorities asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact the prosecutor’s office.
