An Atlantic City man was in critical but stable condition after he was shot twice in the area of the Carver Hall apartments. Police found the victim on the 800 block of Caspian Avenue after officers responded to a call about a man who had been shot multiple times at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Lt. Robert Campbell said. The article says the man had been out of state prison for about a week after serving time on drug charges. It also notes that, as a juvenile, he had been sentenced in court for aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon involving a BB gun. Police said there were no suspects in Wednesday’s shooting. Detective Charles Stewart of the Violent Crimes Unit was investigating.
