ATLANTIC CITY — A male was wounded in a shooting just after midnight Friday, police said.
The victim was found shot in the left leg in the first block of South Florida Avenue.
Police said the shooting happened close to where Darrell Moore, 29, had been found shot less than 12 hours earlier. Moore was shot in the chest in the 1500 block of Pacific Avenue at about 3:40 Thursday morning.
Lt. Robert Campbell of the Violent Crimes Unit said the shootings were not related. Neither man's injuries were considered life-threatening.
The article also notes that a warrant had been issued for Jamal Bradford, 22, in Moore's shooting, and that police were also continuing to look for Najee Marshall, 24, who was wanted in a separate shooting that wounded Deshawn Harmon, 25, the previous Saturday. Bradford and Marshall were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and weapons offenses.
