Atlantic City police investigating two shot in Atlantic City
Two people were wounded in a shooting Saturday night in Atlantic City, police said. Officers responded to the 100 block of North New York Avenue and found a male victim shot in the face. A second victim later arrived at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said a crime scene was also found in the 800 block of Caspian Avenue in the Carver Hall apartments.

Police were called to the 100 block of North New York Avenue at about 8 p.m. There, officers found a male who had been shot in the face.
Police said a crime scene was also found in the 800 block of Caspian Avenue in the Carver Hall apartments.
Witnesses told police there was another victim, but an initial search turned up only shell casings. Hospitals were notified in case a victim arrived.
A short time later, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center notified police that a person had come to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police asked anyone with information to contact investigators.
