Philly man wounded in Atlantic City shooting
A 39-year-old Philadelphia man was wounded in a daylight shooting on the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Atlantic City on Aug. 3, 2023. Police responded after a ShotSpotter alert and found the man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus with injuries not considered life-threatening.
A Philadelphia man was wounded in a daylight shooting Thursday in Atlantic City.
Atlantic City police were alerted to the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue by a ShotSpotter alert at 3:44 p.m., Lt. Kevin Fair said. Officers arrived and found the 39-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus. Police said his injury was not considered life-threatening.
