At least one wounded in Atlantic City shooting
A 19-year-old Atlantic City man was wounded in a shooting late Sunday night in the 1000 block of Brigantine Boulevard in the Brigantine Homes complex, according to police. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert, found evidence of gunfire, and later learned the victim had gone to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment. A witness reported a possible second victim, but police said they had no record confirming that. No arrests had been announced.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter gunfire alert at 11:21 p.m. in the 1000 block of Brigantine Boulevard in Brigantine Homes, according to police. When they arrived, they found evidence of gunfire but no victim at the scene, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
A short time later, the victim arrived at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment, police said.
A witness told BreakingAC that another young man was struck in the ankle and taken away on a stretcher, but police said they had no record of a second victim.
No arrests had been announced. Police asked anyone with information to contact Atlantic City's Violent Crimes Unit or submit an anonymous tip through tip411.
