ATLANTIC CITY — A man who was wounded in a January shooting turned himself in Monday after being charged in the same incident that also wounded another man. James Callaway, 28, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 100 block of Isaac Coles Plaza at about 7:20 p.m. Jan. 5. Police found 23 shell casings at the scene, according to Sgt. Monica McMenamin. Minutes later, officers were called to the 800 block of North Tennessee Avenue, where Bradley Williams, 25, was found shot in the torso. An investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit led to warrants charging Callaway with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. On Monday, Callaway turned himself in. The article also states that he previously served 10 years for manslaughter and had just been released in August.
