For the 2nd Day in a Row, a Person Was Shot in Atlantic City, NJ
A 19-year-old man was wounded in a shooting late Sunday night in Atlantic City’s 1900 block of Brigantine Boulevard. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening. The shooting followed a separate non-fatal shooting Saturday afternoon near Indiana and Hummock avenues, which remained under investigation.
Atlantic City police are investigating a second shooting in as many days after a man was shot late Sunday night.
According to the report, the most recent shooting happened at about 11:20 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Brigantine Boulevard in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Officers responded and found evidence of gunfire. Shortly afterward, a wounded 19-year-old man arrived at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment. His injury was described as non-life-threatening.
The incident came while authorities were already investigating a separate shooting from Saturday afternoon in Atlantic City. In that case, a man was shot in the area of Indiana and Hummock avenues. His injuries were also considered non-life-threatening.
Police asked anyone with information about either shooting to contact the Atlantic City Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit.
