Atlantic City Man Sentenced for Aggravated Assault, Handgun Possession

Amir Lampkin, 20, of Atlantic City was sentenced to five years in New Jersey State Prison for second-degree aggravated assault and second-degree possession of a handgun without a permit in connection with a November 12, 2022 shooting that injured Karmor Dolleh in Atlantic City.
Atlantic County authorities said that on Monday, October 2, Amir Lampkin, 20, of Atlantic City, was sentenced to an aggregate five years in New Jersey State Prison. He must serve 85% of the sentence before becoming eligible for parole. The sentence was for second-degree aggravated assault and second-degree possession of a handgun without a permit related to a shooting that occurred on November 12, 2022. According to officials, at about 10:48 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022, Atlantic City police responded to the 200 block of North Kentucky Avenue after receiving a report of a man who had been shot. Authorities identified the victim as Karmor Dolleh, 32, also of Atlantic City. Dolleh suffered a gunshot wound to the left side of his hip. Officials said Lampkin was identified as the shooter through surveillance footage, cell phones recovered at the scene, and witness statements.
