An Atlantic City man pleaded guilty Monday to shooting a man last year. Tajideen Austin, 30, was identified through surveillance video and witness statements in the July 23, 2022, attack in the 1400 block of Central Avenue in Atlantic City. The victim was found with several gunshot wounds to his lower back and extremities. Austin was later stopped while driving a car, and police found a loaded handgun. He remained in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending sentencing, which was scheduled for Oct. 23.
